The Sugar Act
The British would tax the colonist for buying sugar which you need to make a lot of food so they would make a lot of money. -
The Quartering Act
King George would send solderers who needed a place to stay in colonists home and those colonists would have to take care of him unexpectedly. -
The Stamp Act
The colonists were taxed to buy stamps for all legal papers that need to be sent. -
The Tea act
The Tea Act stated that all tea need to be imported must have a license and was taxed for the colonist if they wanted to buy. -
Intolerable Acts:Boston Port Act
This act was passed by the Parliament and King George. The British didn't want ships leaving or coming in with any goods. They didn't want colonist to have certain goods so they made this a law. -
Intolerable Acts: Act of Administration of Justice Act
This act stopped colonists committing crimes and getting away with it. The colonists would be punished if they were caught. Meetings held without the ruler was not allowed as well. -
Intolerable Acts: Quebec Act
The British and Parliament passed this Act. The British wanted to expand more. They expand closer to the colonies and to Quebec. Then Quebec expand towards the Ohio River -
The Townshend Act
Guards would freely search people or buildings to check if they were smuggling something illegal.
