This war began in America unlike the other wars. It was a fight over land in the Ohio River Valley. William Pitt took over the war because he thought America was critical for England’s global domination. -

This marked the end of the French and Indian war. Also marked the boundaries of settlement of inhabitants of the 13 colonies. -
stamp act
Every piece of vellum or parchment, or sheet or piece of paper, on which shall be engrossed, written, or printed, and declaration, plea, replication, rejoined. -
tea act
On a cold December night Bostonians dumped 342 chests of tea into the water because they were tired of the tax prices. -
Intolerable Acts
The parliament didn’t want to pay. Tea was banned from the Boston harbor because of the Boston Tea Party. The Quebec Act was passed. Town meetings were banned. -
Boston Tea Party
342 crates of tea were dumped into the Boston harbor belonging to the British East India Company. The Boston thugs did not confess to doing this either. Only food and fireworks were able to trade with the Americas now. -
Declaration of Independece
The people thought far too much blood had existed. On June 7, 1776 Richard Henry Lee introduced a resolution to the congress that declared the thirteen colonies, “free and independent states. There were three parts, statement of intent, list of grievances, and officially dissolves ties with Britain.
