    Bookbinding was originated from the 1st century during the A.D's. The Romans of the time only created a simple book called codex by folding sheets of papyrus in half and sewing them through the fold. (Image: Lost Roman Codex hidden scrap part of the spine.)

    The Papyrus book was invented by the rorman time. THe used papyrus to make the books. They used the leaves for the paper and the string to tie them up together the ends of papyrus. This is the 4th century.
