Manolo passes the tests he is put through and meets the Candlemaker, who takes him to the Land of The Forgotten. -

In order to be resurrected and find Maria, Manolo must fight every bull his ancestors ever fought, all at once. -

Manolo Defeats The Bull
Manolo chooses again not to finish the bull, but to sing to it. He manages to defeat it. -

The bandits invade the city during Joaquin and Maria's wedding, and they must fight them. Chakal takes Joaquin's medal and defeats him. -

Manolo Is Resurrected
Because it was Dio de Los Muertos, Manolo and the Sanchez family are resurrected in time to fight of the bandits. -

Manolo and Joaquin Defeat Chakal
Manolo and Joaquin both sacrifices themselves for each other, but both wind up saving each other. Together they defeat Chakal and recover Joaquin's medal. -

Manolo and Maria Get Married
Manolo's father allows him to play the guitar instead of bull fighting. Joaquin learns to be a soldier without the medal. -

La Muerte Forgives Xibalba
La Muerte forgives Xibalba, and everyone lives happily ever after.
