    Bonnie and Clyde met in Texas in January of the year 1930. Bonnie being 19 and married to an imprisoned murderer. Clyde being 21 and unmarried. Soon after meeting, Clyde was sent to jail on charges of burglary. Clyde escaped by using a gun that Bonnie had smuggled in and given to him. Not getting far and getting caught, he was sent to prison.

    Using a gun, smuggled in by Bonnie, Clyde used it to escape prison. Only being out a week, he and the other few men who escaped were recaptured. Clyde got sentenced 14 years hard labor. Being love sick from Bonnie, he planned to get out again. During an "accident" he had his big toe and part of another toe cut off. After that his mother convinced the judge to give parole. Two weeks later he was released.

    Buck Barrow, Clydes brother, his wife Blanche, and William Daniel Jones would leave Bonnie and Clyde on their own. During a shootout against police, Buck Barrow was fatally wounded and Blanche was arrested. four months later, Jones was captured by sheriffs.

    The Dallas Texas sheriff and his deputies set up a trap to capture Bonnie and Clyde. Taking hostage an attorney, they took his car abandoning it at Miami Oklahoma. Escaping the officers gunfire, they got away.

    Five prisoners locked up in the Eastham State Prison Farm at Waldo, Texas were set free by Clyde. Clyde was, like usual, accompanied by Bonnie. 2 guards were shot with pistols that were previously hidden in the ditch by Clyde. Henry Methvin and Raymond Hamilton were two of the five prisoners who were set free.

    Bonnie and Clyde were more than likely on their way to their hide away home. Police officers from Louisiana and Texas hid in bushes along the highway near Sailes, Louisiana. Attempting to escape in a stolen 1934 Ford Deluxe, they were gunned down. It is said that some 167 bullets were fired at the outlaws. They had no chance of survival.
    They robbed around 15 banks and killed at least 9 officers and many civilians
