    The actual march had really started on March 21, 1965. It started on March 21, 1965 because MLK had to lead them to the bridge and then MLK let them go on there own.

    President Lyndon Johnson signed the Voting Rights Act of 1965. It was passed on August 6, 1965

    After the march some segregation stopped and the colored people got the right to vote once the voting right act was passed.
