    Beginning in Asia: Origin of the Bubonic Plague
    Was the disease which started in Asia and massively spread. It started in countries such as China, India and Turkey. All of these by trading routes and ships.
  • Period: 1345 to 1348

    Europe and Asia were seriously affected.

    Through these three years the bacteria had already spread through different countries in Asia and Europe. England, France, Cyprus, Germany, Poland and Hungary are some examples of the countries seriously affected by the plague. The plague which had been caused by rats and insects giving humans less than one week to live
  • Period: 1350 to 1353

    Problems in Scandinavia and Russia.

    In 1350, Scotland and Scandinavia received the disease. It killed the King of Spain Alfonso XI. In 1353 it get to Moscow, Russia, and seriously affected its population. At the end of this time, one third of the population of Asia, Europe and Northern Africa had already been killed by the sickness.
  • 1354

    Black Death broke out.

    The Black Plague had already finished, and the population decreases from 75 million to 50 million people in Western Europe, which was the most affected continent.
