    French and Indian War
    1763 when the war came to an end. The French won but still faced many other problems in the years to come. The French had problems because they passed the Stamp Act without letting the people put in their opinion. This war is an important event that lead to the birth of the America because this war was later followed by the American Revolution, where the Americans took their Independence from Britain.

    Time For Acts
    1765-1767, during these two years 5 acts were passed. Stamp Act, Quartering Act, Stamp Act Congress, Declaratory Act, Townshend Revenue Act. These 5 acts were passed without the people having a say in them. Many of the town refused to pay and comply with the acts. This drove Britain into trying to enforce the acts. These acts are important because they fueled the anger in both sides, which later fired up the American Revolution.
  • Boston Massacre

    Boston Massacre
    Boston Massacre, a scary event that drove the Americans. A peaceful protest turned ugly when French military opened fire. Five dead colonist. This event lead up to the Boston Tea Party. The reason why this event is so important to the birth of America is because this event showed the Americans they should break away from Britain. The Boston Massacre was a sad step forward to the American Revolution.

    Tea Party
    Two very important events happened in 1773. The Tea Act and the Boston Tea Party. These 2 events go hand in hand. Without the Tea Act the Boston Tea party could have been avoided. The Tea Act, added tax to tea, the Colonist were mad and decided to get revenge. Their revenge was dumping 342 barres into the tea on a ship into the ocean. This is important because this lead up to the Colonist fighting for their independence, in the American Revolution.

    The Constitution becomes supreme law of the land
    After the American Revolution, the Constitution is born. The Constitution is a document giving us, Americans, basic rights. The Constitution carries ideas fro many people including,Locke, Montesquieu, and Rousseau. The Constitution includes, the Bill of Rights where is gives us the basic rights; such as, freedom of speech, the right to bare arms, freedom of press, ect. This is important because this holds America together today.
