Hiros Bot Win
Hiro makes a miniature robot to do robot fights and ends up winning one at the beginning of the movie and makes money off of it. This robot has a very big part in the movie and will end up being one of the most important parts of the whole movie. This is a part of the exposition. -
Tadashi tells Hiro about his creation
Before Tadashi's death, he told Hiro about one of his new creations, Baymax. This was a robot that was rechargeable and seemed to be one of the smartest things to ever exist. Baymax is a kind, inflatable healthcare robot. Baymax is very useful in the whole movie. This is a part of the exposition. -
Tadashi's Death
Tadashi is Hiro's brother, who goes to college to create things. One night after a science fair show, the school gets caught on fire, Tadashi, decides to run back into the building to save one of his teachers. In the end, he does not come out alive, and, or so we were told, neither does the teacher. This is a part of the exposition. -
Hiro finds Baymax
While Hiro is going through Tadashi's side of their room after his death, Hiro stumbles upon Baymax, activating him by accident. Baymax starts assisting Hiro, believing he is injured, showing his healthcare program. This is part of the rising action. -
Faked death
With help from Tadashi's friends, Hiro and they find out that the villain is Professor Callaghan, who faked his death in the fire using the microbots. This is part of the rising action. -
Hiro learns about Kabuki villain
After the fire, and how Hiro THOUGHT he only had one microbot left, the lone microbot leads Hiro and Baymax directly to the villain's lair. Hiro discovers the Kabuki villain using his stolen microbots for evil intentions. Hiro found it strange because he thought all his microbots were destroyed in the fire. This is part of the rising action. -
Team gets ready to fight villain
Hiro, and all of Tadashi's old friends, including Baymax, get ready to fight the villain, also known as Professor Callahan. Each friend gets their own power, or gear to face the kabuki villain. This is part of the rising action. -
The gang faces Callaghan
The group ventures to a quarantined, deserted island, that they traced Callaghans microbots to find the secret island base where Callaghan was staying. Hiro discovered Callaghans plan so they knew what was gonna happen. They all confront him and end up getting into a big fight. They struggle initially but teamwork prevails, and they manage to defeat Callaghan. This is the climax. -
Abigail
During the fight, Callaghan tells the team about his daughter and how she is trapped in a teleportation experiment gone awry. Baymax and Hiro decide to rescue her. Baymax sacrifices himself to save her by using his rocket fist to propel Hiro and Abigail back to safety, while he stays behind. Once Hiro is back in the normal world, he rebuilds Baymax using the healthcare chip Baymax left in his rocket fist. This is falling action. -
The end
Hiro, Baymax, and their friends form a superhero team, Big Hero 6. Abigail awakens from her coma, and Hiro opens a robotics lab in memory of Tadashi. This is the resolution.
