On the third day created the earth. On the fourth day he created the Sun and Moon. On the fifth day created living creatures. On the sixth day the Final and His ultimate creation, humankind. On the seventh day he finished his work and rested.

In accordance with God's instructions, he constructed an ark in order to rescue his family and living things. This story was written in Genesis (Torah), the first book of the Bible.

    Israelites was in slavery in Egypt and they were led out of Slavery by Moses and Joshua. Israelites promise land was Cannan but Moses was unable to enter the land of Cannan because he disobeyed God. Exodus describes the story of Moses and Israelites getting freed from slavery. At the end God gave Moses ten commandments for Israelites.

    C538- 515 Return from Babylonian exile and rebuilt of Jerusalem temple.

    Amos: 760 BCE He prophesied over nation from Syria to Judah and then Israel. He mainly focused on justice and righteousness. (Artery, Andrew) Hosea: 750-725 BCE God compared Hosea and his wife relationship to compare God’s and Israel’s relationship. Hosea, was used to bring Israel into repentance when they disobeyed. (Artery, Andrew) Jeremiah: 626-580 BCE The major prophet in Jerusalem. He prophesied during reign of Josiah, Jehoiakim, Zedekiah and beyond. (Artery, Andrew)

Catholic epistles include Hebrew, James, 1 and 2 Peter, 1,2,3 Peter, and Jude. Philippians: It’s about the imitating Jesus and living humbly and in hope. Hebrews: Hebrews supports claims about Jesus.
