A book that Betty wrote. The book to this day is still regarded as being influential. It helped all women find a voice and brought awareness to the “no name” problem. The women of this time were expected to be housewives and be happy doing so. This book came after Betty interviewed women and found they weren’t happy just being housewives. • The Second Stage

    The Second Stage
Betty wrote many other books Along her life time, one being “The Second Stage” it was written to be a more modern feminist take than her book “The Feminine Mystique” She had gotten a lot of backlash from more modern feminist for only helping white heterosexual females and working with men. She was loosing her footing in the feminist community. This book I believe was her attempting to try and get back with the feminist movement of the time. https://www.biography.com/activist/betty-friedan
