On May, 1945 the Red Army captured Berlin and East side of the city became the Soviet Sector and the West was US, British, and French sectors. -

The Hungarian Government opens its border with Austria. Thousands of East Berliners leave and make their way the West Germany. -

A million people attend a pro-democracy demonstration in the East Berlin's main square. In days the East German Government resigns. -
The Wall is Breached
Thousands of East Berliners go to the wall and demand to be let threw. The guards step aside and let thousands of people stream into West Berlin and people start pulling down the wall in celebration. -
Reunited
East and West Berlin are finally reunited.
