Benito Juarez was born on March 21 1806. He was born in San Pablo Guelatao Mexico. HIs parents were Brigida Garcia (mother) and Marcelino Juarez (father). -
Orphaned
Benito was orphaned at the age of three. He was raised by guardians and worked in corn fields as a shepherd. This happened in 1809. I do not know the day or month. -
Graduation
In 1827 he graduated from Santa Cruz Seminary. While he was at Santa Cruz Seminary he learned spanish and law. After that he attended the institute of Science and Art. I do not know the exact date. -
Recieved law degree
In 1834 he received his law degree. After this he became immensely active in politics on both the city and state level. At this time he was appreciated for defending the rights of the natives there. I do not know the exact date. -
Married
In 1843, he married Margarita Maza. She was 17 years old at the time of their wedding. He was 37 years old. I dont know the exact date. -
Govenor
In 1847 Benito became the governor of the state of Oaxaca. This was after the liberal party came to power. He was 31 years of age.

End of being govenor
He was governor until 1852. Afterwards he faced many objections. This was during the dictatorship of Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna. I dont know the exact date. -
Exile
Due to the dictatorship of Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna, Benito Juarez he went on exile to New Orleans. He made his money by working in a cigar factory. This was in 1853. I do not know the exact date. -
Mexico City Captured and ELected President
On January 1st 1861 liberal forces recaptured Mexico city. Later the year he was elected president. He was 55 years old. -
Death
He died at the age of 66 on 18 July, 1872. He suffered a heart attack. He died while reading the newspaper.
