Although arnold was given control of Westpoint a month pior he didnt actually go to Westpoint untill now, it would have been longer if he would not have said that he was unable to lead a group of troops into battle because of a pain in his knee. -
arnold learns the deal has been accepted
due to poor ways of communication there was a 21 day delay from when it was accepted untill both parties knew about it
