    My reading journey

Growing up my family lived in the Meadow Brook apartments. Every so often a scholastic book fair truck would pass by and sell books. My mom would buy boxes full of books ranging from Joy Bowers children's books, to stories about Disney princesses and fairies.

    Being Rude
I remember as a child sister and I had a large double door closet in our room, but it wasn't a normal closet full of clothes. It was full of books! I used to love reading the story of princess Jasmine and the Joy Berry series that taught children things like manners and how to share. My favorite book to read with my sister was Being Rude by Joy Berry.

This year in particular I had decided to buy the book as a birthday present to myself. " Dork Diaries- Tales from a Not -So -Happy Birthday".
  • The Perks of being a Wallflower

The Perks of being a Wallflower
In 8th grade Mrs. Ferarro had given us an assignment to read a book and create a project on it. I had chosen to read "The perks of being a Wallflower". It was one of the best books I've read because I related to the main character so much.
  • The things they carried

    The things they carried
Near the end of sophomore year we started reading a book called "The things they carried". It is one of my top favorite books that I've read so far. It was very memorable because every character had a different, and crazy background story, or object that they carried with them through the war
