when they declared war they were not committed to the war. Canada was not at all ready for the war. they had few men and did not have modern weapons.they had 6 ships and all of there men were untrained and unprepared and they were not very useful in the war. -

saipan is a place on a island off of the western pacific and in that battle 16,525 Americans are killed or injured. Its the costliest battle in the pacific to date.30,000 Japanese soldiers died and 4000 scared civilians, women,men and children fled to the north part of the island to try and be safe , but the Japanese soldiers said that people should kill their self instead of being taken by the Americans and whoever refused would be killed by the Japanese, over 1000 Japanese died to Japanese. -
