Job shadow for interior designers in the area to get a better feel of the job and the responsibilities. -
Step 2
Go to college and major in business (to possibly create my own company in the far far future) and minor in interior design. -
Step 3
GOOD GRADES!!!!! (at least B's) Graduate with my bachelor's degree :) -
Step 4
After graduation, take an internship with Ruby and Co. in Davenport to gain more knowledge on the responsibilities and day-to-day schedule of an interior designer. -
Step 5
Do some research and locate a city where designers are needed and/or are more successful. Apply for jobs. -
Step 6
Become an Interior Designer

M: Go to college and major in business - minor in interior design
A: Take classes that help me learn about business and about interior design - graduate with my bachelor's degree
R: This will take up a lot of free time because I am going to work for good grades. This will make me have less time to do leisure things but that will all be worth it in the end.
T: In the next 5-6 years, I will be an interior designer
