Creation of the Club
Bayern Munich was founded in 1900 on February 27. Eleven players were the founders, but were lead by Franz John. This event was the creation of the product and started a dominant club that would last for a long time. -
First National Championship
Bayern Munich had won it's first national championship in 1932. They defeated Eintracht Frankfurt 2-0. This event was a huge promotion for the club around the country it was an event that proved they were a good team. It also helped them gain many supporters that year. -
First Eurpoean Championship
In 1974 Bayern Munich had for the first time not only made it to the European Cup Championship but also won it. This marked the first year they could rightfully call themselves the best club team in the world. Being able to do so was a huge promotion for their club as they now were well known all over the futbol world and media. -
The New Coach
In Bayern Munich's 1999 season, Ottmar Hitzfeld became the new head coach. This event lead to great success in further years as well as that season. In 1999 Bayern Munich was the runner up of the UEFA Champions League final in a devastating loss to Manchester United. Ottmar Hitzfeld was a great promotion for their club as he represented success for them. -
Allianz Arena
Bayern Munich ans TSV Munchen created the stadium together and both play their home games on this ground. This helped promote the club and create a new place for their supporters to enjoy watching their team play. -
Mario Gotze Trade
In 2013 MArio Gotze was traded to Bayern Munich. He went on to score the game winning goal in the World Cup Final for Germany which upped his value tremendously making him a huge part of Bayern Munich -
Javi Martinez Trade
In 2012 Bayern Munich added Javi Martinez to the squad for a small price of 40 million euros. He was a valuable player to the team and became a rp,otion for himself and the club. -
Pep Guardiola Signing
In 2013 Pep Guardiola was signed to Bayern Munich as the new manager. He was recently at FC BArcelona and had major succes there. With him coming to Bayern Munich it was a large promotion and opputrunity to bring in more money. -
New Home Kits
This year Bayern Munich released their new home kits to the public for purchase. The prices range from $50-$150 depending on the quality of the jersey being bought. This is a way of promoting the team and pricing products properly to gain profit. -
MLS Allstar Game
This past August Bayern Munich travelled to the US to play against other power temas from Europe as well as the Allstars of the MLS. This event was purposed to promote soccer in the US and give fans the experience of watching the best players in the world which they can not do in the states. This event was a great promotion for the sport and all clubs participating.
