Super Mario Paper World
A 3D to 2D Mario game that was made in 2008, it was made long after the arcade but still featured the 2D platform along with the ability to transform into a 3D platform through the controls of the game. -
Mushroom Kingdom
Super Mario Mushroom Kingdom and multiple diverse variations were made by multiple developers and game creators, one big company that made and or helped in the process of making one was Nintendo. -
Super Mario 3D World
Super Mario 3D world was Mario's first actually 3D game that allowed the player more than just moving from the left and right, but from all dimensions as it allowed for more secrets to be made and discovered and increased the playtime of the game as players could do side missions and quests, while getting secret coins and power-ups. -
Super Mario Odyssey
Super Mario Odyssey was released in October 27, 2017 by Nintendo on the Nintendo Switch, it featured Marios adventure through all types of hardships, through cities, through jungles and biomes, and even through outer space.
