When Barack lived in Indonesia with his mother and step father he was later forced to move back to Hawaii by himself and lived with his grandpa.His grandpa made Barack go to a private school instead of a public one so Barack could get a better education.Kids at Obama's new school picked on him and made fun of his name and hair style.Most of the kids had never seen a black person before. -

Barack Obama's mom was a very caring woman and cared for Barack and his half sister a lot.She sent Barack back to Hawaii to get a better education.Ann wanted him to learn that he was American. -
Highschool Applying
Barack applied to numerous colleges and several accepted him.A small Los Angeles college named Occidental College offered him a full ride.That's where Barack decide to go. -

Obama won the election for senator and took office early in 1997 in Illinois.Barack was named chairman of the state senate's Heath and Human Services Committee.He helped pass laws giving low-income families better access to heath care. -

After 911 President Bush declared war on Al-Qaeda.The United States invaded Afghanistan and started a 10 year long war.In 2002 President Bush said Iraq was also involved in the attack on september 11th,2001. -

Al-Qaeda hijacked four airliners and carried out suicide attacks against targets in the United States.Two of the planes were flown into the World Trade center towers.The third plane was flown into the pentagon just outside Washington D.C. -
