In 1953 the St. Loius Browns were bought by Baltimore buisness interests. But, weren't moved to Baltimore until 1954. -

From 1966 till 1983 the Orioles saw tremendace success and their farming system produce many great players. With Cal Ripken SR. as their coach the Orioles created a standard of execlence know as the Oriole Way. -
Orioles Sweep Dodgers at 1966 World Series
In 1966 the Orioles swept the title defending LA dodgers. -
Orioles win 109 games
After a mediocre 1967 and 68 season the Orioles dominated the newly created AL East divison but suprisily lost to the Mets in the World Series. -
Orioles win World Seires
After sweeping the Twins in the ALCS the Orioles won a 5 game World Seires against the Reds. -
Glory years come to an end
After their 1983 season the Orioles began to hit a rough patch with several manager replacements and several records set for worst season in MLB history. -
Orioles Leave Memorial Stadium
After 38 years the Orioles Leave Memorial Stadium and head for Camden Yards -
Camden Yards opens
After their move from Memorail Stadium the Orioles built Camden Yards. This new stadium received much praise and was the site of the 1993 World Series. -
Eddie Murray inducted into the Hall of Fame
Murray played 2,413 games with more than 600 as a DH. He became the 3rd player in history to have a record of 3,000 hits and 500 home runs. -
Return to glory
During the 2012 season the Orioles saw a return to their 1966 season performance and show no sign of slowing down. -
Orioles clinche Al East
The Orioles clinched their division for the first time since 1997 and went on to sweep the Tigers in the ALDS.
