    The Aztec Civilization began around 1325 with the settlement of the capital city Tenochtitlan, they conquered neighboring groups to become a very advanced empire that excelled in engineering, math, agriculture, etc.

    The first Ruler, Acamapichtli , stayed for around 20 years. He wasn't a native to Tenochtitlan, this was very important to Aztec rulers. After the death of Tenoch, Mexica's decided to send a delegation to the leader of Culhuacan, and Acamapichtli was part of it.

    Texoco and Tlacopan
    Aztec conquered nearby lands by Tenochtitlan. Aztecs wanted to expand their empire and named their new cities, Texoco and Tlacopan.

    At this year, the conquistador Hernan Cortes went to Mexico to try to conquer Tenochtitlan. When he arrived there, the Aztec rulers Moteczuma thought that Cortes was their God from before who promised he would come back and rule the Aztecs. Moteczuma answered Cortes with peace, but Cortes still wanted to conquer Tenochtitlan so he killed all the Aztecs.
