Looking For Home
Throughout this timespan the Aztec wondered through the desert following orders from there high preist's. These orders were said to come straight from Huitzilopochtli, their patron god. -

Tenochtitlan
The Aztec people come upon a eagle perched on a cactus holding a rattle snake. This was the sign they were looking for, they settled here and began to build the grand city of Tenochtitlan. -

Leader Ties in an Alliance
The son of an Aztec noblemen and a Culhua princess, a man by the name Acamapichtli had acquired the role of the Aztec leader/ruler. Since his mother was Culhua, and the Culhua were belived to be direct desendents of the Toltec, this new leader reinforced the ties to the toltec strengthening their alliance. this aslo allowed all the Aztec emperors to claim that they were also desendants of the Toltec. -

New Leader
The Aztec apointed a new ruler, his name was Itzcoatl. it is Itzcoatl who raised the small settlement of newly arriving people into a grand empire. -

Conquistadors Conquer
The great empire of the Aztec crumbled when the Spanish Conquistadors came in and nearly wiped out all of Tenochtitlan in order to purge the land of these "savages", before settling.
