    In 1788 11 ships from England sailed to Port Jackson, Australia. Because the jails in England were full of convicts so the police took some of the convicts in England to sail the to Australia.

    My Australia was short of food so several ships and sailed to Indonesia to look for food. Then some part of Australia sailed to Port Jackson but there were no supplies. The ships carried over 730 people.

    ASSISTED IMMIGRATION INTRODUCED

    The Colonial Government decided to promote the migration of free settlers and the restricted age 14 and over could win free land and build a farm. The migrants had to pay their fare to win this prize. By that a lot of people became wealthy.
