Captain James Cook is a man who is known by discovering Australia. He was born in 7th November 1728 Marton, in United Kingdom. He was a british explorer, cartographer, navigator, and captain, in the Royal Navy. He was assassinated in 14th of February 1779, Hawaii, Kealakekua Bay, United States. -
Gold Rush
The first Gold Rush in Australia happened in May 1851. Edward Hargraves is a prospector claimed to have discovered some payable gold near Orange, in a site he called it Ophir. He has been to the Californian goldfields. He learnt some new gold prospecting techniques, like cradling and panning. -
