J.J Thomson
Thomson was a british Philosopher that lived from 1856 - 1940. In 1897 he made the discovery of the electron and showed that the atom could split in smaller pieces. He is given credit for being the stepping stones to creating a detailed model of the atom. He also discovered the subatomic particle and isotopes. -
Marie Curie
Marie Curie was a physicist, chemist and a pioneer in the study of radiation. She lived from 1867 to1934. She is most famous for her discovery in 1903 when she discovered the elements polonium and radium. -

Robert Andrews Millikan lived from 1868 to 1953. He was an American experimental physicist honored with the Nobel Prize for Physics in 1923 for the measurement of the elementary electronic charge and for his work on the photoelectric effect. -

He travelled to occupied Copenhagen where he met and discussed the German project with Niels Bohr. -

James Chadwick was an English Physicist that lived from 1891 to 1979. He is known for the discovery of the neutron. -
