Atomic Theory
-
John Dalton
Pioneered work on the atomic theory. -
JJ Thomson
JJ Thomson discovered electrons and said they were mixed in the atom like "plum pudding". -
Ernest Rutherford
He received a nobel peace prize on atomic structure. -
Niels Bohr
He created a model for atoms, and described the insides of them. -
James Chadwick
He made an important discovery of the neutrons in atoms. -
Current Theory
Currently we use all the research from James Chadwick, but we use Ernest Rutherford's model. We learned many things from these men that support this theory, such as: protons, neutrons, and elctrons.
