Columbus sailed the Atlantic ocean funded by the Spanish Monarchs, Queen Isabella and King Ferdinand. The Spanish were trying to find a way to trade with the east indies but through a different route. Christopher Columbus was an Italian Sailor. -

The first eslaved African's, held by the Spanish reach the Americas. Most of them would work on sugar or tobacco plantations. -

Cortes conquers Aztec Empire
Hernan Cortes conquers the Aztec empire with 200 soldiers against almost impossibly more. His advantages are guns, steel and diseases which killed off most of the natives. -

Francisco Pizarro used the same advantages and was outnumberd much more than Hernan Cortez. Guns, diseases and steel were a huge advantage. -
English found Jamestown
The English found their second colony but it was the first to flourish. After a couple years if starvation and death, the people of Jamestown begin to grow. -
English found Plymouth
English Puritan's looking for religious freedom leave England and establish a colony in Plymouth massachusetts. They got help from the natives to survive. -
French and Indian War ends
The British and the French fight over the land in North America, mainly east of the Mississippi and southern canada. They had indian allies on each side but the French had more.
