80 thousand men and women were deployed to this peacekeeping. Dispite the fact that it was a peacekeeping mission, they wielded the FN C1 rifle. -
Avro Arrow
The avro arrow was a huge advancement in military jets. The first flight was on march 25th 1958, sadly this was cancelled febuary 1959. If it wouldn't have been cancelled, this jet would have still been used today -
October Crisis
The Canadian Forces got deployed to Montreal during this FLQ terrorist attack. The war measures act was called by Trudeau. During this time, they were using the FN C1 still, making them a little behind on weaponry then other armies. -
CF-18
With the adoption of the CF-18 jet, the canadians were starting to upgrade their power, this top of the line jet is still used today. -
C-7 rifle
The c-7 rifle has been adopted in 1984 and still in use today, this high powered rifle can be customized to how the shooter wants it. -
Afghanistan
The army is now, standing 90,000 and strong, wielding the C-7 rifle, and the CF-18 jet. Strongest we have ever been and losing little casualties compared to the 1940s.
