Before sleep, my aunt read to me.
My aunt is a teacher and she loves reading books to children. She encouraged the love and dedication of reading to me. -
Kindergarten
I started choosing the books that I liked (short stories) and I tried to read by myself. -
Second grade
I was able to read and comprehend a text. I love to read in my free-time. -
Third grade
At school, all the students had the assignment to create a book. I created my book and I read it in front of the class. I still have that book. -
Fifth grade
I started reading chapter books and I tried reading romantic stories. -
Seven grade
I started teaching my little brother to read short books and writing his name within other small words. -
Lost interest
In Cuba, ninth grade is still middle school and I didn't have time to read books because I had too much homework and exams. -
Second Language
I moved to United States and I didn't know the language very well. I start reading English language books little by little just as I read in kindergarten. -
Enjoying reading
I continued reading and I loved my English 12 class because the teacher suggested wonderful books to read. -
Nowaday!
I continued reading romantic and adventure books. But the ones I love most are those of mystery.
