Australian Men in Vietnam Increase
The Australian Prime Minister increases the men in Vietnam to 1700 soldiers. -
Conscription Ends
The period of Conscription ends and draft resisters are released from jail. -
The end of Americas role
The American role in the Vietnamese ended with the truce formed in January 1973. That meant Australias role was also over. -

The war actually ended in April 1975 when the North Vietnamese took Saigon and the South Vietnamese government fell.
