Shay's Rebellion
Armed uprising that took place in centra and western Massachutes in 1786 and 1787. Named after Daniel Shays, a veteran of the Revolutionary War and one of the rebel leaders. -
US Constitution Signed
The signers of the Constitution included 39 of the 55 that attended the Constitutional Convention sessions. The delegates ranged from Jonathan Dayton, aged 26, to Ben Franklin, aged 81.
