La Florera de Santa Anita
This painting was done in 1920. It represented a view of women during the time of revolution. It also compared women with flowers which is the reason why they are the only two things in the frame. We think that the flowers mean that women are beautiful and delicate just like flowers. People used to consider women like tis mostly because they had these ideals that prohibited women from doing anything that men did. -

Mexican Modernism
This mural represents the different kinds of Mexican breeds of artists which championed through an ultra-modernist movement. It represents urban life in all of its glory. There´s different working classes shown. To us it represents a way of how workers feel by their face expressions; also how as little kids, adults and in death they are still suffering from the consequences that being from a lower class had on them. -

Russian Revolution
This poster shows how the working class was under an oppression. It demonstrates how people in working classes still made revolts against the government and that they had to fight for what they wanted. We think the red flag shows pride within the country because of how hard they have worked to get to the results that they have which is why the man is standing in a lot of trash that can be used as metaphorical as standing beyond of how they once used to be. -

Russian Header
The creativity period in art after 1917 became known as "revolution: russian art 1917-1932". The paintings all represent each paintor´s point of view and how they felt about the revolution during and after. We think this shows how the government destroyed the town with the actions made and how people felt with all this changes they had, they were uncomfortable with them. -
