Christ Pantocrator
Artist; Unkown
This piece of art is Byzantine style art, it is extremely mind-blowing, it shows how even so long ago artists were experimenting with everything. The artist used small pieces of colored pebbled of sorts to make such an amazingly detailed piece of art. It is truly surprising how detailed it is, the texture fits perfectly with the beard and hail of the people in the painting. -

Creación de Adám
Artist: Michelangelo
This surprisingly detailed work of art was made by Michelangelo on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel with a Renaissance style! Even at such a height he managed to complete a true set of art that illustrates the creation of Adam in the Bible. Since it was on a ceiling, Michelangelo must have been a truly dedicated artist. According to Wikipedia, "its fame as a piece of art is rivaled only by the Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci. -

The Harvesters
Artist: Pieter Bruegel
This piece of art is a Landscape style of art and it shows farmers working on a field while other take a break and a nap under the tree's shade. It is truly wonderful how the oil works on a wooden surface, which the painting was created on. -
Nativity of Jesus
Artist: Gerard van Honthorst
This painting is in Baroque style. I did not choose this pice because of its structure or texture, the only reason i chose this painting is because it reminds me of my family. In this painting everybody is around bab Jesus and they are looking at him with smiles, some could be playfully tickling him. Which is the exact reaction my family has to children. -
Wanderer above the Sea of Fog
Artist: Caspar David Friedrich
This painting shows a man standing at a cliff staring out into the sky, it is a painting with the Romanticism style of painting and i chose it because it really shows adventure. It shows how the man had climbed and risked his life just to have the satisfaction of looking out into the world at that angle. -
A Norman Milkmaid at Gréville
Artist: Jean-François Millet
This painting is one of my favorites of the Realism paintings because of one simple fact, the way the paint is used and what he focuses on. The artist decided to focus on the clouds and backgroundrather than the face which is unusual but amazing for a painting. -
Redon spirit-waters
Artist: Odilon Redon
This bizzare work of art is one of the first of the Modernism art movement in France. It is a very weird style of art but very interesting too. The art often makes you think and there are many diffrent meanings that are really acceptable, each person having their own. -
Wheatstacks (End of Summer)
Artist: Claude Monet
The reason i chose this painting out of all the other Impressionism paintings is because of the main subject. Most Impressionism paintings is see, the subjects are people or groups of people. It is amazing to see a fresh mind within the manly mainstream, at that time, ones.
