When was the Association founded?
Az CA was originally founded in 1912, as Arizona Children’s Home, to care for homeless, neglected and dependent children. -
When did they start making groups around the world for ACA
We began establishing local advisory groups in 1915 with the following cities on record as initial supporters: Globe, Patagonia, Pima City, Safford, Solomon, Thatcher, Prescott, Yuma, and Nogales. By the year 1918, individuals from fifty cities across Arizona made at least one financial contribution to Arizona's Children. -

THRIVE is a statewide one-on-one mentoring program that matches volunteer mentors to a 16 or 17-year-old, who is about to 'age out' of the foster care system. Mentors provide the youth guidance and support as they into independence. -
