    Az CA was originally founded in 1912, as Arizona Children’s Home, to care for homeless, neglected and dependent children.

    We began establishing local advisory groups in 1915 with the following cities on record as initial supporters: Globe, Patagonia, Pima City, Safford, Solomon, Thatcher, Prescott, Yuma, and Nogales. By the year 1918, individuals from fifty cities across Arizona made at least one financial contribution to Arizona's Children.

    THRIVE is a statewide one-on-one mentoring program that matches volunteer mentors to a 16 or 17-year-old, who is about to 'age out' of the foster care system. Mentors provide the youth guidance and support as they into independence.
