Patrick Henry made a speech that said that he would not take all these taxes. The most famous part was " GIVE ME LIBERTY OR GIVE ME DEATH." -
Townshend Act
The British passed a law saying that Glass, Paint, Paper, and Tea were being taxed. The colonists were building up anger. -
Boston Massacre
The Boston Massacre was when a colonistst mob had gathered to protest against the British and British soldiers thought some one said to fire, They shot into the crowd and five colonists died. The first to die was Crispus Attucks. -
BostonTea Party
This is it !!! The colonists were tired of these taxes so the Sons of Liberty dressed up as Mohawk Indians and threw tea crates off the ships. King George was mad at the Indians and didn't know the Sons of Liberty did it. -
First Continental Congress
The First Continental Congress was the first time represenatives from the colonies gathered to protest the Intolerable Acts.
