Six-Day War
Israel's route was beginning to get closed off by Egypt, blocking off their path to the Red Sea. Israel sensed Arabs were going to attack, so they decided to be the first to take action. Israel attacked and defeated a large amount of Arab forces starting the Six-Day War. -
Yom Kippur War
The Six-Day War gave Israel control of a lot of land. Egypt and Syria decided with a surprise attack on Israel, they were going to get their land back. -
Camp David Accords
Israel and Egypt had been in a feud for three decades to create peace, the president of Egypt in exchange for Egyptian acknowledgement. This remedied thirty years of fighting. -
Intifada
Israel began to settle in Gaza and West Bank. Palestinians weren't happy with this which started a rebellion called intifada, involving the Palestinian youth and troops of Israel. -
Changes begin
A few changes were underwent start when Yasser Akafet passed away and Mahmoud Abbas took his place. Settlers from Israel left Gaza and gave it back to Palestinians the year after, 2005. Palestinians underwent new control by Hamma, an organization considered terroristic by many, for Parliament in 2006.
