The Palestine Liberation Organization was founded with a purpose to free Palestine through armed struggle. It is recognized as the legitimate representation of the Palestinian people.

Six day War

The six day War also known as the third Arab-Iraeli conflict lasted from June 5th to June 10th, 1967. It was fought between Israel and Egypt along with Egypt's neighboring countries United Arab Republic, Jordan, and Syria.

Yom Kippur War

The Yom Kippur war was yet another war with Arab states(Egypt and Syria) against Israel. This conflict lasted from October 6-25, 1973. The Arabs started the conflict when they attacked Israel. The war ended in an Israeli victory.

Camp David Accords

Sep 17, 1978

The Camp David Accords were signed by Egyptian President Anwar El Sadat and Israeli Prime Minister Menachem followed by twelve days of secret negotiations at camp David. The two framework agreements were signed at the white house with jimmy carter as a witness.

Intifada

The First Intifada was a Palestinian uprising against Israeli occupation in the west bank of Gaza. This lasted from December 1987 to 1991.

Oslo Accords

The Oslo accords is an agreement between between The state of Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization. Its purpose was to bring all Arab Israeli conflicts to an end.
