On this day, the astronauts are on the backside of the moon and coordinates are set for their way back home. The crew on board enter their sleep period. -

On this day, the crew is 101,00 nautical miles from Earth. They are halfway home and the Final color television transmission begins at 7:03 pm -
Coming Home
On this day, at 12:50 pm, the space ship landed in the Pacific Ocean with everyone on board unharmed. -
Presidential Welcome
At 3 pm President Nixon greets the astronauts and says ""This is the greatest week in the history of the world since the Creation.... As a result of what you have done, the world's never been closer together .... We can reach for the stars just as you have reached so far for the stars."
