Was invented by Johannes Gutenburg and the printing press is a device that allows for mass production of printing. This invention is significant because it made printing stuff more fast and efficient. -

On May 29th, 1453 Constantinople was taken over by the Ottoman Turks, which also ended the Byzantine Empire. This event is significant because the city of Istanbul came out of it and the Ottoman Turks had control of the Balkans. -

Cristopher Columbus went on his first voyage from southern Spain in pursuit of three ships and the next morning he landed ashore at San Salvador. This event is significant because Columbus was trying to find a direct water route from Europe to Asia. -
