Integration Review
We reviewed basic and advanced integration methods. I need to go over inverse trig integration formulas and (on an unrelated note) polar graphing in general! -
Differental Equations Review
We reviewed differential equations in class and I worked on the practice problems at home; I understand how to find general/specific solutions, slope fields, and Euler's Method but I am still a little confused by how the different equations for population work (I get the basic form but when it gets complicated I'm out!) -
Series and Sequences
Today we began to review series and sequences. I remember the convergence of basic forms (geometric, p-series etc) but I could use a refresher on when to use tests for convergence for other kinds of series, I'm going to practice that a bit using the homework paper and the review book, -
Series Continued
Today we reviewed Maclaurin and Taylor polynomials. I remember the main idea of the polynomials but I need to review the specific details and the formula for the remainder. -
Taylor and Maclaurin Series
We reviewed more about series. The power series we are supposed to memorize are starting to come back to me, but when I did the homework I got a bit confused when the problem is more complicated than just "show the taylor series for sin x centered at pi/2" and the like! -
Advanced Integration
Today we reviewed advanced integration methods, I needed a quick review of how partial fractions work but I'm pretty sure I understand most of the methods fairly well. I worked on the practice AP at home and discovered I'm still struggling a bit with sums. -
Solids of Revolution
Today we went over solids of revolution which I pretty much remember, I'm a little iffy on the shell method but I think after reviewing I've got it down. At home I worked on the practice AP. -
Polar Review
Today we reviewed polar graphing. I remember how to find derivatives etc but I need to completely memorize some of the formulas like the one for surface area! -
Polar Test
I wasn't in class today because of Law Day but we took the test on polar graphing. At home I continued to study for polar equations and wrorked on the chart showing what to do for each type of problem. -
General AP Practice
Today we did part of a review packet that I finished for homework. At home, I also reviewed polar forms a bit more, finished up the week's homework, and worked on the "If you see these words then..." packet. -
Polar Test/Take-Home test review
Today the class reviewed the take home test and I took the polar test- it was more difficult than expected and I struggled to finish but I think I definitely have the main ideas that will appear on the AP! At home I worked on the chart as usual.
