Braddock's men were moving loud and slow. the French and Indian allies launched a surprise attack, sharpshooters hid in the forest and picked off Britsh soldiers. Since the British had bright red uniforms they were easy targets. -

Quebec sat on the edge of The Plains, that was on top of a steep hill above St. Lawerence. They were prepared to fight off any british attack. The British traveled at night and had a surprise attack on Montcalm. -

Pierre de Rigaud a general and governor was forced to surrender. After his surrender, he was under British custody and he was imprisoned. -
Treaty of Paris
Britain and France signed a treaty that brought the conflict to an end. It marked the end of french power in North America. Britain gained Cananda and all lands east of the Mississippi river, except New Orleans. Peace returned to North America. -

Pontiac's Rebellion
After the British victory in the French and Indian War, the natives joined to try to drive British soldiers and settlers out of the region. The Royal Proclamation of 1763 was made. It was the boundary between the colonists and Native Americans.
