    Andrew Jackson believed that John Quincy Adams and Henry Clay made a corrupt bargain so Adams can be the president.

    Andrew Jackson was elected president and that was the start of the Jacksonian Democracy in which he expanded suffrage and used the spoils system.

    Andrew Jackson thought the state banks benefitted the wealthy. He didn't like that so he wanted the bank to have less economic power.
