    The election of 1824 was between Andrew Jackson, and John Quincy Andams. The election ended up leading to the Corrupt Bargin. The elction result was finially decided by the House of Representives.

    The election of 1828 was a big rematch between John Quincy Adams and Andrew Jackson. Jackson was very elated as he ended up the victor of the election
  • Indian Removal Act

    Indian Removal Act
    The indian Removal Act, was when Jeferson Forced the indians out of their tertory. He did this in exchange for their land. All the indians had to move west of the mississippi. Most went to curent day oklahoma. The journey west was very hard and is now know as the Trial of Tears.

    The Bank War is just a big poltical dispute, mainly between Jackson and Biddle (president of the second bank). Jackson hated the national bank as he thought it was too poweful. Once the banks charter had ended, Jackson did not renew the charter (because he hated the bank so much and it was his chance to get rid of the bank).

    Worcester V. Gorgia

    This was a case which the U.S Supreme Court took care of. The desputie was over how Worcester protested the states handling of the indian lands, peacfullly as a missonary, and how/what Georgia would do in response. Georgia forcefully removed the Cherokeys, while Worcester wanted to do it peacfully. After going to court Woecester finially won, When they finally saw that the Chrokey should have/ be able to have some power.
  • Nullification Crisis

    Nullification Crisis
    The Nullfication Crisis was between South Carolina and the Federal Govenrment. South Carolina was threatining to succeed if the government didnt change the Tariff of 1828 & 1832. This tariff was hurting southern farmers as it made them pay a tariff on imported goods. This meant they had to spend lots of money. The farmers and as a state South Carolina was not happy.
