Mohenjo Daro Harappa are situated in the Indus Valley, to be more specific Mohenjo Daro was near to the indus river, and Harappa was near the Ravi river. (Possible) reasons Declined was because of the amount of flood, so people started leaving this place,, possibly another civilization took place and moved the people, maybe a civilization like Aryans. Same might happened with Harappa, which theories exist that it was rebuilt about 7 times for it continous floods -

Chandragupta was the 1st ruler in the Mauryan empire (Maurya Dynasty in India),and Ashoka´s grandfather, Ashoka took india to its greatest expansion. Maurya fall because of independence of providences, greeks came on too, and internal governmental problems started, between military, mostly found in Asoka´s reign. -

He sent missionaries (to greece & egypt) he also built shrines and monasteries and inscribed Buddhist teachings on rocks and pillars in many places, he also sent his son (a monk) to Sri lLanka where he spread Buddhism too. -
