Silk was made from silk worms and the leaves off of Mulberry trees. Which is what most of their clothing was made out of. It was rare other places. -

They had a caste system which was originally based on skin color. They also have a bunch of different gods. They believe in reincarnation. -

The Middle Kingdom was referred to as the golden age. There was a lot of art and literature.Instead of building pyramids they built tombs underground so they wouldn't be robbed. -

Writing
When writing in ancient China they would use oracle bones such as turtle shells. Calligraphy was also used it's a certain type of writing that they used. Which they still use today their alphabet hasn't changed. -

The Maya's were very advanced. They were good at math and Astronomy. They even made a calendar. -

Buddha was a prince but then founded Buddhism. Which he came up with the four noble truth. He also wrote the eight fold path. -

Confusions philosophy was more about the world and the government than the spiritual world. They believed that men were better than women. That you should know your role in society.
