    Justinian became the emperor of the eastern Roman empire, which later turned into the Byzantine empire. He was emperor of the empire from 527 AD to 565 AD. He also grew the empire nearly to the size the empire to the original Roman empire.

    When Justinian died, Justinian had already set a lasting effect on the Byzantine empire which would last for half a century. But, the empire would slowly descend as they started to lose many battles and land, then ultimately, be defeated half a century later.

    Crowned by Pope Leo lll, Charlemagne was crowned the new Holy Roman Emperor. He was a great leader and converted many Germanic tribes to Christian belief.

    In Aachen, Germany, Charlamagne passed away. With his three sons then taking over, the kingdom that Charlemagne had made for himself had slowly crumbled away, for the sons couldn't get along.
