    Hatshepsut becomes pharaoh in 1473 B.C. This is important because she is the first woman rules that ruled eygpt.She was supposed to rule for Thutmosis III until he was old enough to rule on his own. However, after several years, Hatshepsut declared herself the pharaoh. Many important people at that time did not agree with her right to rule because she was a woman.

The largest of the three stone pyramids of Giza was built for the pharaoh Khufu for his death. he second of the Giza pyramids was built for the pharaoh Khafra It was built on higher ground than Khufu's pyramid, so it looks taller than Khufu's pyramid, but it is actually shorter.
