    Old Kingdom

    Was the first period in the history of Ancient Egypt. Was one of the most important periods of Egyptian Art. They had an strong government and a prosperous economy. The Old Kingdom spanned four major dynasties from the Third Dynasty to the Sixth Dynasty. The period reached its peak during the Fourth Dynasty when powerful pharaohs such as Sneferu and Khufu ruled. Sometimes the Seventh and Eighth Dynasties are included as part of the Old Kingdom.
  • Period: 2055 BCE to 1650 BCE

    Middle Kingdom

    Middle Kingdom is a period of time during the history of Ancient Egypt. The Middle Kingdom was the second peak period of Ancient Egyptian civilization. During this time all Egypt was united under a single government and Pharaoh. During the First Period, Egypt was divided and in political problems. The Tenth Dynasty ruled northern Egypt, while the Eleventh Dynasty ruled the south. A few years then, a men called Mentuhotp attack the north and reunite Egypt in one rule.

    New Kingdom

    Was the golden age of the civilization of the Ancient Egypt. It was during the New Kingdom that the Egyptian Empire conquered the most lands. At the same time, Egypt expanded trade with many external nations and kings. The Eighteenth, Nineteenth, and Twentieth Egyptian Dynasties ruled during the New Kingdom. They included some of the most famous and powerful of all the Egyptian pharaohs such as Ramses II, Thutmose III, Hatshepsut, Tutankhamun and Akhentaten.
