Beginning of Mesopatamia

5000 BCE

The first city started to develop in 5000 BCE. The civilization started to develop at the Euphrates, and Tigeris Rivers. This civilization started writing

Oldest known civilization

3300 BCE

The Indus River Valley civilization is know to be the oldest to date. Discovered in 1920's we still don't know much about it. For not know about this civilization we have many different theories on this civilization.

Beginning of writing

3200 BCE

The Mesopotamia civilization created the first form of writings. The writing was used for keeping records of food. They're written on clay and have etching in them.

Invention of silk cloth material

3000 BCE

A cloth that is made from an insect called silkworms. Ancient China was the first to discover this method. The Chinese became rich in trade from this material with over Rome and other powerful empires.

Pyramids Construction

2630 BCE

The pyramids were built for tombs of the Pharos. Each pyramid was to believe to be smooth and flat and was built with the man power of slaves. The stone is white limestone and the architecture is precise.

Creation of the Sphinx

2500 BCE

The Sphinx was created in the 4th dynasty by Pharaoh Khafre. It's a tomb that is a construction of cat part man. Famous figures have visited the site such as Napoleon

The collapse of Mesopotamia

2300 BCE

The collapse started when field were being abandoned from war, flooding and, being conquered. When they went back to try and plant crops the salt from the floods poisoned the plants which let the crops died. With little food the people started to shrink to nothing.

Indus River invasion

1800 BCE

The Aryan's invaded the Indus River Valley people. They crossed the Himalayas. The Aryans were a nomadic group who traveled all over Asia.

Death of the youngest phoroh

1324 BCE

King Tut died at the age of 19 with an unknown cause. Son of Pharaoh Akhenaten he was the youngest phoroh to serve. His tomb was found in 1922.

Bering Strait crossing

1300 BCE

Humans cross the strait in search of food. It took them 100 years to travel across. This era was during one of several ice ages

The Warring States Period

475 BCE

An era in Chinas history were it was at war with itself. The territories spli0t up and were at war for total China dominance. They were at war till 221 BC when the Qin dynasty brought them together

First female empress

618

First Ancient China's empress was Wu Zetian. Her dynasty lasted from 618-920. She was a ruthless woman seeking power who was firstly recruited fro the emporer crongress.
